Trial Alert ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. We do not have an account system and we do not collect, transmit to ourselves, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK in the app.
Your searches, followed authors, settings, the list of items you’ve already seen, and your Premium purchase status are stored only on your device (in the app’s local storage). This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
To find studies and news, the app sends the search terms you create directly from your device to public, key‑free research services so it can retrieve matching results:
These requests contain only your search keywords (and, per NCBI’s usage policy, a tool name and a contact email). They do not include your identity, device identifiers, or contacts. Each provider processes the request under its own privacy policy. No account is created with any of them.
Alerts are local notifications generated on your device. The app does not use a server or Apple Push Notification service, so no data about what you monitor is sent to us.
Trial Alert Premium is a one‑time in‑app purchase handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive your payment details. The unlock status is stored locally on your device.
The app is a general‑audience information tool and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
